Bulletproof Vests

Our bulletproof vests are extremely durable, ensuring the protection of the wearer. They are made using quality material.

IC Security manufactures and supplies a range of vests that provide protection against different kinds of weapons. When it comes to products of this kind, poor manufacturing and design could lead to the death of the person wearing it. We custom make our vests to suit our customers’ individual needs and requirements.

All IC Security’s Bulletproof Vests are SABS tested and approved and comply with national and international standards and specifications. We strive to maintain optimum quality in everything we produce, because our customers’ safety is our main concern.

Our vests are available in a multitude of colours and your branding can be added at no additional cost to you. This is done so security staff can maintain a professional, uniform appearance, or an individual can have a unique vest.

You will notice that our vests offer different levels of protection. This is reflective of what resistance they have against different weapons. Extensive testing has been done to determine the different levels.

Anti-stab Vest

Anti-stab Vests are pieces of reinforced body armour designed to protect the wearer against knife attacks from the back and chest and can be worn under or over other clothing. As with all our products, IC Security manufactures high-quality vests to do what they’re supposed to – protect lives!

Level II Bulletproof Vests are basic body armour vests made to withstand shots fired from handguns. It offers protection on the back, sides and front and can be worn under or over other pieces of clothing. IC Security’s Level II Bulletproof Vests contain Kevlar, high strength synthetic fibres that are woven together, widely used in personal protection items.

To withstand shots fired from AK47s, vests need to include material with superior strength. Ballistic armour plates are strong and durable, offering increased protection to the wearer. These vests are designed to be worn in high-risk situations, this includes military and tactical teams, among others.

Containing Kevlar and armour plates, IC Security’s level IV bulletproof vests offer outstanding all-round protection for the wearer against threats from different calibre rounds. These vests are available in a multitude of colours, like all our vests, and worn over clothing.

IC Security’s undercover vests offer level II protection, the same resistance against shots fired from handguns as our other Kevlar vests. They are discretely designed to be worn with formal clothing, providing protection without looking conspicuous.

Ballistic helmets

IC Security’s ballistic helmets offer level IIIA protection, with 4 point chin strap harness weight of 1.250g.

Battle jackets come with multiple pockets for you to store all your tactical equipment, like torches, handcuffs, pepper spray, etc. For total comfort, they also have adjustable straps, ensuring a perfect fit.

IC Security’s tactical bags are custom made to meet your exact requirements. They are easy to carry, store all your tactical equipment and zip open so you can effortlessly access your equipment.

Strong enough to deter any attacker, pepper spray is available in fog and direct stream and comes in tins of 60ml and 100ml.

Seeing as how most crime occurs at night, tactical torches are needed to apprehend criminals even in dark areas. IC Security offers a wide range of quality tactical torches.

IC Security offers a range of tactical gloves to protect your hands without hampering your trigger finger.

Protect yourself with handheld, extendable steel batons from IC Security. They can be extended from 15cm for ease of carrying, to 50cm for a longer distance between you and your attacker.

Once you have successfully defended yourself and would like to restrain your attacker for the purpose of an arrest, for example, you will need handcuffs or cable ties to prevent them from escaping. IC Security offers a range of security handcuffs, SAPS handcuffs and cable ties for multiple cuffing.

Torches become unpractical when you need to see in the dark, but do not want to risk being seen by others. This is where IC Security can assist you by stocking a wide range of night vision equipment.

Paintball equipment can be used for more than just fun and games. When rifles with resin and pepper ball shots are used, it can become a powerful self-defence weapon. It is a non-lethal alternative to having a gun and requires no licence.

For self-protection without the risk of killing your assailant, JPX jet protectors fire pepper and dye solutions at 435km/h and are effective within a range of 7 meters. Best of all – it requires no licence.

Riot helmets

IC Security’s riot helmet is lightweight and fits comfortably. It comes complete with a visor and fully adjustable 3 point chin strap. They are made from fibreglass reinforced polyester laminates to protect your head from potential threats during riots.

We stock a range of chest, shoulder, upper arm, elbow and forearm guards to protect your entire upper body. These are made from a polyethylene outer shell with shock absorbing EVA foam, this is covered in nylon and comes with fully adjustable Velcro straps to ensure a secure fit.

For complete lower body protection, IC Security offers a range of thigh, knee, shin and foot guards. These are made from a polyethylene outer shell with shock absorbing EVA foam, this is covered in nylon and comes with fully adjustable Velcro straps to ensure a secure fit.

IC Security’s riot shields come in 2 sizes, 1 being a small round shield with a 600mm diameter and the other a long shield which is 640mm x 1215mm long. Both sizes are made from polycarbonate sheets. They also include handles and forearm Velcro straps to ensure you don’t lose your grip.

Batons are effective for use in riot control as they are easy to carry and use against attackers. IC Security offers a range of T-batons and straight batons for just this reason.
